"I'm just happy that this event continues to survive. The event becomes grander and the quality of the electric floats is becoming better each year."
[VIGAN, ILOCOS SUR, PHILIPPINES]► Bigueños seemed to treat this annual electric float parade seriously. I mean, every year, each entry has the balls to win. The Bigueño creativity just runs through our veins when the Raniag Twilight Festival season comes.
[VIGAN] ► HELLO! WELCOME TO VIGAN!
I've been watching this event since its debut and I was able to blog about it since 2011. I've seen how this event evolved through the years. Raniag Festival's Electric Float parade is always staged to stun. This has become one of the most watched parades in Vigan.
Below are some photos taken during the electric float parade on 23 October 2016. All photos were taken by Joshua del Castillo for edmaration.com.

Insights
- I've said a lot about this event since 2011. I've written my personal experiences, suggestions and reviews in my past blog posts. If you want to look back, I've included the links of the previous posts below.
- I'm just happy that this event continues to survive. The event becomes grander and the quality of the electric floats is becoming better each year.
- For tourists who usually visit our city during summer for the Binatbatan Festival (or the Viva Vigan Festival of the Arts), I am confident enough to recommend this event for you as the best alternative for the crowded May festivals. I have strong guts that this won't disappoint first-time (and even old) watchers—truly a Vigan must-see.

You can see dates almost everywhere on this blog. Exempted from this rule are my travel guide posts that need to be updated.
